Case Study

Real Estate Franchise

The business is a large real estate franchise based in the UK with more than 75 branches in different cities.

Business Objective

The business wanted to increase their onsite traffic and revenue (for the different branches). The goal was to increase their organic traffic by 50%. The business was (and currently is) actively using PPC with large ad budgets.

SEO Challenge

The business is already well known in the UK and the website has been optimized by another company before us, however, on a full on-page audit we identified a lot of problems and areas for improvement. Another problem was the full lockdown because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Solution

SEO Strategy

An SEO strategy was developed according to the business needs

Keyword Research

Keyword research was conducted in order to find the right audience and determine the most searched terms on Google

On-site Analysis

We did a detailed on-site analysis and developed optimisation strategies that were applied by their dev team

Content Analysis

The website text copy was analysed and optimized to improve keyword positions on the most relevant terms and provide more clear information for users.

Copywriting

The existing onsite blog was optimized. New content was created based on researched topics related to the business niche.

Competition Research

We did in-depth competition research

Results (Website Traffic)

May 2019 – Oct 2019, compared to May 2020 – Oct 2020.

A serious problem that slowed down the ranking improvements was that the client insisted on providing the new content for their website (they have an internal marketing team), and although we researched and created a large number of content plans, they wrote very few of them.

Search Impressions and Clicks

Search impressions and Clicks have increased in the past few months as a result of the optimization and the efforts of our team.

Enquiries

(May 2019- October 2019, compared with May 2020 – October 2020)

An increase of 82.35% in the number of Enquiries, compared to the same period previous year.

We must note that the UK was in lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic this year, yet the search traffic has improved and the enquiries are slightly higher.
